I left Penna. in Sept/1972. I had planned to venture to Hawaii with the assistant chef of the Lobster Pot Restaurant,Carroll Buckingham. Our car broke down in every state landing in Calif. One of the 2 guys that went with us was Jerry Pugh, a musician. We married and were together5 yrs. I was a grocery checker at that time then divorced.Met my husband Frank Clemons, who was a jack of all trades.He had plans to build a sailboat under his arm. We wholesaled cars and finished the 50foot motorsailer in 1982. Went to the Northwest for 3yrs and always worked along the way.Went south to Mexico, Costa Rico then through the canal in 1989. We were in Florida through 1993 then took the boat through the intercoastal waterways to Texas. We lived aboard for 15 (happy) yrs. Sold the boat(Thunder,was her name). Bought 7 acres in a small town of Aguila,Arizona and built a house,ourselves. Sold it in the lower desert and bought 80 acres in the mount...Expand for more
